Naomi's actual lines on this page suggest she fails to comprehend what an AI is, or maybe how encrypted traffic is actually cracked. As the 'treatment as a capable person' behavior Peter, Naomi, and Miko do in the rest of the story makes it plausible to me that Mium hasn't yet decided that his life would be better if he just killed them all, starting with Naomi, then Peter, I found the dialog here to be a bit over the top.
