Panel 1: The old man from last page, face and shoulders.

Man: You understand the timetable here, Kyle. Her actions were not ideal, but there was a reason.

But this isn't about that, this is about solving the Peter Problem.

So what's your price, Kyle? We are in a hurry here.

Panel 2: Kyle, to the bottom of his characteristic yellow shirt. A closed door is in the background behind him.

Kyle: I am a civil servant, Director, I do not have a price. I merely have a responsibility to the oversight of our actions.

I find it hard to proceed in this matter when what can only be construed as important details are being sealed behind a blocked inquiry.

Panel 3: The old man, head and shoulders profile.

Man: Do you have any idea the shitstorm it would be to hall Arron Kepler and Biana Beyer in front of the assembly?

Frankly you should jump at a solution that puts Peter in a cell, so let's work this out.

Panel 4: Kyle, head and shoulders.

Kyle: Frankly, I think you're delusional. How well did having him in a cell work for you last time?

As I recall he got bored after less than a day, and checked out like it was a hotel, leaving you his forwarding address.

Panel 5: Old man, standing, arms down like his hands are on the bench in front of him.

Man: You have some god damn balls bringing that up. It was your override he used to steal the damn dropship.

Fine! We'll put a bullet in his damn head if that's what it takes! He has hacked AEGIS before! If the dog can't be put on a leash, it's put down!

Are you going to look me in the face and tell me he had nothing to do with the "impossible" hacking of bridgepoint's data? "impossible" is his fucking calling card!

Panel 6: Introducing Volkov. Yellow hair bearded man in a purple suit coat, an orange shirt with a popped collar and a red tie and a red handkerchief mostly stuffed in the suit coat's upper (left) pocket. He seems to be a diplomat. He was not in view on the prior page's incomplete wide spread view of the room, so there's clearly at least 6 people actually in the gallery.

Volkov: Director... I would remind you... Kyle is... how do you say... bait you. Pull your chain. Make you bark like little dog.

When you rant like that.. You only boost Kepler ego. He is deep down a proud father for Peter making you turn angry colors.

Let us see... Uh... Hmm, I think that special agent, not good match for a Kepler? I can send one of my people. We can agree to that?

Panel 7: Kyle, face.

Kyle: Ah... that's sort of brave, Volkov... I mean, sending someone into the middle of a fight between Sophie's demon and the Seat of Summers?

Oh... had you not really heard about the... backdrop... of this little affair?

Panel 8: Woman from last page, head and shoulders.

Woman: You play a dangerous game, Kyle. You practically admit right here in front of us that you are flaunting informational security protocols. That hasn't been released to the civil service.

Are you just going to admit that your son is your agent in some scheme?

other person, speech bubble partially under hers, though the speech pattern seems like Volkov: WHAT? This.. tell me more of this! Why has this not-

Panel 9: Nick Otte, head and shoulders. The microphone in front of him is visible at the bottom of the panel.

Nick: Ex-excuse me! Ah... gentlemen, um, the regional observer did propose an alternative solution if we were unable to acquire the special agents required...

He thinks that if, ah, you see, the military observer Colonel Ricci is currently holding regional military command, but if he were reassigned to the north to the Resh-Orish border...

... existing assets would be sufficient to resolve the matter.

You see, the monster hunters are already-

Panel 10: Kyle front, down to the bottom of his shirt.

Kyle: I wonder how your father got so shameless that suggesting the reassignment of a military observer to prevent them from observing seemed like a reasonable suggestion.

Boy, Nelson is a vicious bastard, but he's not incompetent. He doesn't want the monster hunters, he just wants no witnesses.

... which means he's up to no good... Interesting...
